Yes, weather permitting, Central Baptist Church has given us permission to use their fenced in playground every Monday. On a rainy or extreme cold day, we will show age appropriate movies inside.

Yes, Annie McSpadden, an experienced teacher's aide at First Methodist Church Corsicana Preschool, will assist with BLOOM.

With a staff of two, we are limiting the current enrollment to 15 students.

No. BLOOM is not a licensed childcare provider as defined under Texas Administrative Code (TAC). TAC §745.117 exempts programs of limited duration from regulation by Texas Health and Human Services' Child Care Regulation. This exemption includes programs that operate fewer than three days per week and for fewer than 40 days within a 12-month period. BLOOM meets both exemption criteria by operating only one day per week for a total of 31 days during the 2026–2027 school year.

Although BLOOM is exempt from licensing, the safety and well-being of the students remain a priority. All BLOOM staff are certified in American Red Cross First Aid and CPR. We are committed to providing a safe, engaging, and welcoming learning environment and to maintaining open communication with parents and guardians. No, families will be responsible to insure that their students come prepared with all food that they require each Monday. Time will be set aside for snacks mid-morning and lunch around noon.

No, BLOOM will be closed to observe all holidays recognized by BGISD including summers.

Each week, students will have Bible verses available for memorization. These verses will be associated with social-emotional lessons and students will be given writing prompts to journal their personal connection to this disucssion.

To enroll in BLOOM, parents will be required to share their student's current year Beginning, Middle, and End of Year NWEA MAP reports supplied by their school districts, as well as their STAAR testing results from the prior school year. This will eliminate the need for testing students while at BLOOM. We will use the student's MAP scores to discretely provide reading, writing, and mathematical content at each child's readiness level.

No, the Application Fee and the monthly tuition will provide for all costs associated with attending BLOOM including their school supplies.
